Huang Chengfeng, male, Han nationality, born in Kaijiang County, Sichuan Province in April 1965, is a member of the CPC and China Zhigong Party as well, doctor, professor, and doctoral supervisor. He is a vice president of Chongqing Jiaotong University.
Mr. Huang studied as a mathematics major of Department of Mathematics, Nankai University, Tianjin from September 1981 to July 1985;taught in the Basic Department of Chongqing Jiaotong College from July 1985 to July 1992 (meanwhile: studied as a graduate student at School of Economics of Nankai Universityfrom September 1989 to July 1992); taught in the Department of Road Engineering of Chongqing Jiaotong College from July 1992 to June 2002 (meanwhile: studied as a doctoral graduate student at School of Economics and Business Administration of Chongqing University from September 1995 to December 2001); assessed as a lecturer in December 1992 and an associate professor in October 1997; worked as the assistant director of Department of Finance and Economics of Chongqing Jiaotong College from June 2002 to September 2003; worked as the deputy director of Office of Institutional Reform and State Assets Management of Chongqing Jiaotong College from September 2003 to December 2004 and promoted to be the deputy director of State Owned Assets Management Department in December 2004; worked as the deputy director of Graduate Department of Chongqing Jiaotong College from December 2004 to May 2006 and as the deputy director of Graduate Department of Chongqing Jiaotong University from May 2006 to January 2007; worked as the deputy director (presiding work) of State Assets Management Department of Chongqing Jiaotong University from January 2007 to December 2007; worked as the dean of School of Finance and Economics of Chongqing Jiaotong University from December 2007 to July 2015; worked as the dean of International School, School of Applied Technology, and Mathias International Design Institute of Chongqing Jiaotong University since July 2015; and workedas a vice president of Chongqing Jiaotong University since July 2016.
Mr. Huang is mainly engaged in the teaching and research of management science and engineering, applied economics, etc. His academic specialties are the research in such aspects as transportation economy and management, strategic management, logistics economy and management, and project evaluation. He has 93 papers published in important periodicals and conferences, 9 published academic monographs, and 4 standard specifications approved. He presided or participated in 72 projects of international cooperation, national, provincial and ministerial projects and other entrusted projects.
At present, he also holds the posts of the director of Western Research Center for Transportation and Economic and Social Development, the key research base of the humanities and social sciences in Chongqing; the director of Logistics Economy Office of Industrial and Economic Research Institute; and the head of New Silk Road International Joint Research Center; a director of China Industrial Economy Society; an expert of Expert Library of Soft Science of Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China, aVice President of China Business Technician Association; a member of Chongqing Social Science Academic Committee, the academic and technical leader of industrial economics in Chongqing; a decision consulting expert of road transportation industry of Chongqing Transport Commission; an evaluation expert of construction project of Chongqing Municipal Commission of Urban-Rural Development; an evaluation expert of information construction projects in Chongqing; and an executive director of Chongqing Quantitative Economics Society.
