Chongqing Jiaotong University Launches First English Journal Extreme Environments and Engineering

Chongqing Jiaotong University has achieved a significant milestone with the official launch of its first English academic journal, Extreme Environments and Engineering, which has been granted the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN 3117-8952). This marks a pivotal step forward in the universitys international academic engagement and disciplinary development, effectively addressing a long-standing gap in its portfolio of international English-language publications. The journal establishes a high-level, interdisciplinary platform for global researchers in the field of extreme environment engineering to facilitate academic exchange and the translation of research into practical applications.

The journal is edited under the leadership of Editor-in-Chief, Academician Yuanming Lai of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and boasts an editorial board comprising over 50 distinguished experts from 13 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Closely aligned with the forefront of scientific research and the evolving needs of industry, Extreme Environments and Engineering is centrally positioned around engineering innovation and technological breakthroughs in extreme conditions.
